- I have worked in, or followed, the telecoms industry for 20 years, as an equity research analyst and management consultant. For the last six years, I have worked as an independent, specialising in telecoms finance, valuation, business planning and equity research, with a particular focus on smaller companies. For much of this period, I have produced my UK Telecoms Weekly, providing analysis and valuation data on 20-30 UK-listed telcos. From 1997 to 2003, I was a telecoms equity research analyst, with UBS, Commerzbank and Citigroup, and from 1989 to 2007, I was a TMT consultant with PA Consulting Group and NERA.
